Safe House, Lewisham, London

Type:Listed Buildings

Safe House, Lewisham, London

This derelict building was originally ‘The Stone Institute’. A Victorian social Centre for the workers at the Stone Foundry that was situated in front of it. It used to house a concert room, gymnasium, a library, a coffee tavern and two dining rooms.

The foundry has since moved and original buildings replaced with new modern apartments but this beautiful building with original features still stands awaiting love and laughter within its walls yet again. It is apart of industrial heritage.

The proposal is for 14 apartments.
